Once this software is still heavily used by filmmakers, game designers and animators, it is very uncommon to be introduced to the tools that are actually necessary to design in Maya for Architecture.
It became then a necessity to have an extra support class for Maya First-Timers, acessible to the whole community on Youtube.
In these 20 minutes you will be introduced to Maya from the first moment you open the Software to the first time you create a polygon.
The class includes a brief explanation of the Software Interface; Navigation; Basic Tools; Crease sets, Materials; Lights and Duplicate Specials.

This class works as a support class for the Maya Intermediate Class with Live Academy. This intro is acessible to the whole community on Youtube.
In these 30 minutes you will be introduced to the Intermediate modelling level in Maya. The main goal is to practice the base technique involved in the creation of of Zha Galaxy Soho - Bridging.
The class includes a brief introduction to Polygon modelling; Edge loops; Edge crease; Face bridge; Lights and Duplicate Special.
